You can only use moisture-resistant drywall (GKLV), but it is better to give preference to sandwich panels or laminated chipboard/MDF with high-quality edges. You will also need polyurethane foam with a low coefficient of expansion, a vapor barrier film and aluminum tape to seal the joints.

The hinges for such doors need to be reinforced, since the structure is heavy. Sliding systems can be an alternative to swing doors, but they are more difficult to seal. If the niche is deep, you can make two doors: an external decorative one and an internal insulated one.
