How to choose the optimal temperature in the refrigerator for storing food

The quality of food preservation directly depends on the microclimate inside the refrigeration chamber. Many users make the mistake of relying solely on standard factory settings or intuitively setting the minimum values.

The correct one temperature regime is a balance between food safety and energy efficiency of the compressor. Too low indicators lead to excessive consumption of electricity and damage to the structure of products, and high ones lead to the active proliferation of bacteria.

However, there are various thermal zones inside the device. Temperature Gradient arises due to natural convection of air and the location of the evaporator. Cold air is heavier than warm air, so it sinks down, creating cooler conditions on lower shelves.

Top shelves tend to be the warmest, making them ideal for prepared foods that don't require extreme cold. The door is the warmest zone, subject to constant changes when opening.
