Failure to comply with these standards can lead to food spoilage, the proliferation of pathogenic bacteria and even food poisoning. Sanitary and Epidemiological Rules (SanPiN) clearly prescribe temperature ranges for various types of products. It is this interval that is considered the “golden mean”, which allows you to slow down the growth of bacteria, but prevent freezing of products not intended for the freezer.

However, modern models of refrigerators often have a complex air circulation system, which creates different temperature zones. It may be warmer on the top shelf, but colder on the back wall, closer to the freezer. Therefore, the distribution of products is critical.

Semi-finished meat products and fresh fish are the most demanding “clients” of your refrigerator. For them, the optimal temperature is considered to be from 0 to +2 degrees. At higher values, irreversible processes of oxidation and rotting begin in minced meat and pieces of meat.

Dairy products are also sensitive to heat. Open packages of milk, kefir or yogurt at temperatures above +6 degrees can turn sour in a matter of hours. However, they cannot be frozen, as this destroys the protein structure.
