The second reason is the use of aerosols inside the chamber. Many housewives use cleaning sprays or air fresheners based on a propane-butane mixture. If the canister has been opened near the refrigerator or, worse, inside it, the residual odor may linger for a long time. The third option is the smell of hydrogen sulfide or methane, which can penetrate from ventilation shafts or sewers, especially if there is poor draft in the kitchen.
