You can determine the type of refrigerant in several ways:

  1. Sticker on the compressor. On the back wall of the refrigerator, find a metal block (compressor) - there should be a sign on it indicating the model and type of freon. Look for inscriptions like Refrigerant: R600a or Gas: R134a.
  2. Device passport. The refrigerant is always indicated in the technical documentation (section “Technical Specifications”). If there is no passport, check the refrigerator model on the manufacturer's website.
